Lawyer
As the in-house Lawyer at UnderDefense, you’ll own the full scope of legal work at a fast-growing cybersecurity company operating across the US, Europe and Ukraine. Core ownership areas: legal infrastructure and complex negotiations with enterprise clients. This is a hands-on ownership role: you’ll shape how legal works at UnderDefense, work directly with the CEO and COO, and personally drive every contract and negotiation to completion — no loose ends, no follow-up needed.

Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of legal experience in business or private sector.
- Professional English (written and spoken): sufficient to read and redline contracts, run negotiations, and communicate directly with international clients.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal documentation.
- Confident communicator: able to clearly articulate and defend legal positions with enterprise client teams.
- Executor mindset: you take full ownership of tasks and see them through to completion without reminders.
- Hyper-responsibility: proactive, reliable, and unable to let things slip through the cracks.

- Act as UnderDefense’s lead voice in high-stakes negotiations with US and EU enterprise legal teams, shaping deal terms that protect the company and accelerate growth.
- Own the full contract lifecycle across US and UA jurisdictions, from drafting to signature, for clients, partners, contractors and employees.
- Architect the company’s legal framework from the ground up: scalable templates, playbooks and approval workflows that set the standard as we grow.
- Safeguard the company’s most valuable assets by ensuring a sound entity structure and airtight IP protection across every agreement.
- Partner with leadership on corporate structuring and investment initiatives that define the company’s future.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Sales team, turning legal review into a competitive advantage that helps close deals faster.
- Uphold the highest standards of legal quality and international compliance across all company documentation.
- Represent UnderDefense in legal and compliance due diligence from clients and partners.
