Junior Marketing Generalist

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Marketing Generalist to help us grow through partnership content and external placements. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn B2B marketing hands-on — with real tasks and real results.
You will be responsible for outreach: pitching guest posts, getting UnderDefense added to listings and listicles, and building relationships with blogs and media outlets.
Responsibilities:
-  Build the company’s external presence by identifying relevant cybersecurity and B2B SaaS platforms and securing content placements (guest posts, reviews, listicles)
- Â Manage end-to-end outreach to editors, authors, and partners, including pitching, negotiation, and securing placementsPrepare concise, compelling product descriptions tailored to different formats and ensure accurate positioning across publications
- Â Monitor published content to verify links and mentions are live and correct, while tracking outreach activities and reporting on placements and results
- Â Support execution of multi-channel demand generation campaigns (email, LinkedIn, paid, content syndication, social)
- Help coordinate webinars, virtual events, and partner co-marketing initiatives
- Â Research target accounts, personas, and competitors for marketing intelligence purposes
- Â Analyze campaign performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports
Requirements:
- Â Basic understanding of SEO, link building, and content marketing
- Â Ability to write clear and persuasive emails in English
-  Organized — you can manage multiple outreach threads without losing track
- Â Proactive and comfortable figuring things out independently
- Â Prior experience in marketing or outreach is a plus, but not required
